 Prompt Response: My group did not face too many problems when selecting and analyzing sources. My group did not disagree on our sources and chose the ones we thought worked best for our given topic. Summary: Compiled sources from my group. Reflection: I learned that conversing and working through disagreements is an effective way to work when in a group setting. Knowing this will help me as I progress through my academic career.

Prompt Response: The most compelling issue connected to my research topic is it's effect on mental health. This is the most compelling one to me because of the information I found showing both positive and negative effects on a person. I've also found that people who have generally poor mental health seek plastic surgery because of Body Dysmorphic Disorder, which warps a person's view of their body. Summary: Began compiling sources for research project. Reflection: I learned that having multiple people work on the same sources provides a greater pool or sources. Knowing this will help me as I progress through my academic career.

 Prompt Response: Completing my annotated bibliography has clarified my understanding of my topic as it made me realize all of the external factors that come into play when speaking about my topic. My sources are helping build my argument as it provides me with crucial information on my topic.  Prompt Response: The most challenging part of the annotated bibliography for me was the summary. This was the hardest for me because of how difficult it was to condense the articles into their most important points. This challenge will help me grow as a researcher by pushing me to truly understand the most important part of my sources. Summary: Began working on Annotated Bibliography. Reflection: I learned that writing an annotated bibliography makes it easier to organize your sources. Knowing this will help me as I progress through my academic career.

 Prompt Response: Between my sources I noticed that some sources focused on the effects of plastic surgery while others focused on the mental state of patients who undergo plastic surgery. This difference help me realized that my issue was not as simple as I first thought it would be. Summary: Collected sources for research project. Reflection: I learned that credible sources mostly come from news websites. Knowing this will make it easier to find and use credible sources.

 Prompt Response: My experience with GALILEO was different from how I searched for information in the past as it gave me more reliable sources to use. Using specific search strategies helped me find specific information that could be used for my research rather than irrelevant information that would be of no use to me. Summary: Began finding sources to use for research project. Reflection: I learned that specific searches help when conducting research. Knowing this will help me as I advance throughout my academic career.

 Prompt Response: Trump is being criticized in the image. The source suggest that the issue is one of great importance. The cartoonist wants the audience to question Trump's presidency and the issues that he has caused during it. Summary: Learned about viewpoint analysis. Reflection: I learned that sources can be skewed towards a specific side of an argument. Knowing this will better help me as I progress through my academic career.

 Prompt Response: Creating specific search phrases is different from googling a topic because it limits the results you find to relate to specific information you need to search for. This strategy will improve the quality of my research as it will allow me to compile information more accurately. Summary: Learned about reliable research sources. Reflection: I learned about specific search phrases. This will help me when it comes to researching about topics of interest.

Prompt: Your research question is designed to explore a complex issue. What makes this topic difficult to answer or solve? Identify at least two different perspectives or factors related to your topic and explain why understanding multiple viewpoints is important.

 Prompt Response: The topic that my group was assigned was Plastic Surgery, this topic is difficult to solve because neither I or my group members have any experience with the topic. There are many people who are for plastic surgery and also many who are against plastic surgery. It's important to have those opposing viewpoints so you can grasp a better understanding of the topic and its influence on people. Summary: Began working on group research project. Reflection: I learned that collaborating with others on a certain topic makes it easier to understand the topic. Knowing this will help me as I progress through my academic career.

  Prompt Response: In past experiences I've never struggled to much on research projects mainly because I was allowed to choose my own topic of research. Independently I usually struggle with finding reliable and scholarly sources that can be used for my research. These experiences will influence me to find reliable sources about my project. Summary: Completed Common lit assignment Reflection: I learned that college can influence a person greatly. Knowing this will help me once I reach that point in my life.

Prompt: If you could plan the perfect spring break with no limitation, money, time, or responsibilities—what would it look like? Where would you go, who would you bring, and what would you do?

 Prompt Response: If I could plan a perfect spring break without limitations, I would choose to go to Japan and bring my family with me so that we could experience life there and have many meaningful memories to keep. Summary: No class today. Reflection: I learned that people are most excited for long breaks rather than short ones. This is because longer breaks give people more time to relax.

Prompt: McCandless set out to live independently in the wilderness, but his death reveals the harsh reality of nature and survival. In your blog post, analyze how his desire for independence contributed to his death.  Prompt Response: McCandless's desire for freedom led to his death as in his haste to be free he makes multiple tiny mistakes that lead to his untimely demise. When I was younger I wanted to be able to do whatever I wanted and not have to listen to what other people told me and because of that I ended up getting in trouble a lot. Things did not end up going in the way that I had imagined they would in that situation. Summary: Finished the Into the Wild film. Reflection: I learned that small mistakes can lead to large problems. Knowing this will help me as I progress through my life.
