 Prompt Response: The chapter that stood out to me the most was chapter 4. This chapter was interesting to me as it shows how McCandless chooses to forgo his materialistic wealth by burning all of his money and leaving his car behind in a ditch.

Summary: Finished reading "The Life You Save May Be Your Own" in class. Reflection: I did not expect the short story to end in the way it did. I expected a much lighter ending than the one that was presented.
