Prompt: What is the most challenging part of working in a group? Discuss a time when a group assignment did not go as well as you planned and how you learned from that experience.

Prompt Response: The most challenging part about working in a group is having every group member complete their part of the work. One time I was paired with a student who did not want to do the work and I kept trying to get them to do it or we would both fail. After not listening to me I told the teacher what was happening and was assured that I would get full credit for the work that I did while my partner would fail. From that experience I learned that group assignments are really bad to do when paired with someone who doesn't want to do the work.

Reflection: I learned that rhetorical strategies can help improve a persons writing. Knowing this will better help me improve my own writing as I progress through my academic career.

 Prompt Response: One time when my friends got into a heated argument I left to avoid getting pulled into it. Doing that made my life easier as I avoided being suspended. Summary: Finished reading "The Life You Save May Be Your Own" in class. Reflection: I did not expect the short story to end in the way it did. I expected a much lighter ending than the one that was presented.
