 Prompt Response: A time that I didn't feel like myself was during Covid when it felt like I was disconnected from the world. I wasn't able to see any of my friends in person and it kinda just felt like I was drifting through life during that time.


Summary: Worked on Rhetorical analysis of Dr. Martin Luther King JR. "I have a dream" speech.


Reflection: I learned that rhetorical devices are used frequently in speeches to make them more persuasive. Knowing this will better help me as I progress through my academic career.

 Prompt Response: One time when my friends got into a heated argument I left to avoid getting pulled into it. Doing that made my life easier as I avoided being suspended. Summary: Finished reading "The Life You Save May Be Your Own" in class. Reflection: I did not expect the short story to end in the way it did. I expected a much lighter ending than the one that was presented.
