Which aspect of creating a poem do you enjoy the most? Tell what it is and explain why.

 Prompt Response: The aspect I enjoy the most is the brainstorming aspect. I enjoy this part because it helps me think about the things I want to write about and how I want to write it.


Summary: Worked on creating our poems in class.


Reflection: I enjoy writing poetry occasionally and our current lesson is making that passion of writing grow. As we learn more about the creative process of poetry I become more and more intrigued by it.

 Prompt Response: One time when my friends got into a heated argument I left to avoid getting pulled into it. Doing that made my life easier as I avoided being suspended. Summary: Finished reading "The Life You Save May Be Your Own" in class. Reflection: I did not expect the short story to end in the way it did. I expected a much lighter ending than the one that was presented.
