Prompt: Write about a fear you have overcome.

 Prompt Response: A fear that I have overcome is my fear of the movie "Frosty the Snowman". When I was younger and watched the movie for the first time I was scared to death of Frosty and I don't know why. Now I see the movie and just shrug it still kinda creeps me out because of the animation but it doesn't scare me.


Summary: Started worksheet over claim and opposing claims.


Reflection: I learned that an effective argument requires a counter argument to an opposing claim. Knowing this will better help me as we progress through this topic and my academic career.

 Prompt Response: One time when my friends got into a heated argument I left to avoid getting pulled into it. Doing that made my life easier as I avoided being suspended. Summary: Finished reading "The Life You Save May Be Your Own" in class. Reflection: I did not expect the short story to end in the way it did. I expected a much lighter ending than the one that was presented.
