In “The Interlopers” by Saki, Ulrich and Georg view each other as interlopers, outsiders intruding on their land and their lives. Think about a time when you felt like an interloper or when someone else felt out of place in your world. How did that situation affect relationships, emotions, or outcomes?

Prompt Response: One time a friend invited me to their birthday party and I didn't really know anyone there so I just sat alone. It made me feel really out of place and when I told them about the apologized for how they made me feel and I think it made our friendship stronger.

Summary: Completed Common lit assignment: 'The Interlopers".

Reflection: After reading "The Interlopers" it made me think about some things. If people can change and band together in dire life or death situations, then why can't they do without those circumstances? If people desire to change why must they be threatened to do so?
