Prompt: If you had to write a poem about your life RIGHT NOW, what would it be about? Explain your answer in at least 4 to 5 sentences.

 Prompt Response: If I were to write a poem about my life right now I don't really know what it would be about. In this current point of my life I don't really know how to correctly describe my life. It feels like I haven't really been living my life. It feels like I wake up and then I go to sleep just to do it all over again. Summary: Took notes over rhetorical analysis. Reflection: I learned how to better analyze rhetorical devices. Gaining this skill will better help me as I progress throughout my academic career.

Prompt: When you are in a mood that you do not like, what are some strategies that you use to change your mood?

Prompt Response: When I am in a mood that I do not like I usually listen to music and read. I do these things because they work incredibly well at distracting me from my bad mood. Doing these activities also help improve my mood. Summary: Completed Common lit assignments. Reflection: I learned that people want to form relationships with other people. People want to form these relationships to increase their physical and mental health.

Prompt: Describe your personal approach to creativity. What steps do you follow when you’re working on a project. Tell me about a project you created that you were most proud of.

 Prompt Response: My personal approach to creativity is to let my body do things on its own. When I'm working on a project the steps I follow are to brainstorm ideas, procure materials based on the best idea and then complete the project. A project that I created and was most proud of was an original story that I created for a final project. Summary: Completed Writable assignment over vocabulary. Reflection: I learned that the word inveigh means to protest or oppose. Knowing this will better enhance my writing as I progress through my academic career.

Prompt: Choose a vocabulary word that resonates with you personally. Write a blog post explaining why this word is significant to you, including any personal memories or experiences that link you to the word.

 Prompt Response: A word that is significant to me is cerebral. This word is significant to me as I am seen by my family as an intellectual. Summary: Completed vocabulary lesson 7 exercises 3 and 4. Reflection: I learned that cerebral is a word relating to intelligence and matters of the brain. Knowing this will better influence my writing as I progress through my academic career.

Prompt: Write about a time you didn’t feel like yourself.

 Prompt Response: A time that I didn't feel like myself was during Covid when it felt like I was disconnected from the world. I wasn't able to see any of my friends in person and it kinda just felt like I was drifting through life during that time. Summary: Worked on Rhetorical analysis of Dr. Martin Luther King JR. "I have a dream" speech. Reflection: I learned that rhetorical devices are used frequently in speeches to make them more persuasive. Knowing this will better help me as I progress through my academic career.

Prompt: Describe a place where you feel the most at peace and explain why.

 Prompt Response: A place I feel most at peace at is my home. I feel most at peace when I am at home because it is a place that I can rest and just be myself without worrying about what other people might have to say about me. Summary: Completed exercises over the rhetorical devices Procatalepsis and Distinctio. Reflection: I learned that a Procatalepsis is a device that deals specifically with objections and does so without usually without asking a question. Knowing this will greatly impact my argumentative skills as I progress through my academic career.

Prompt: Reflect on a time when you had to rely on someone else. How did it feel?

 Prompt Response: A time I had to rely on someone else was during a group project where each person was given a different piece of the project and would come together to create a completed version of it. I was a little worried that my partner would not complete their part but they managed and I felt a sense of relief knowing that I was able to work with someone reliable. Summary: Analysed rhetoric found within Trump's 2019 border address. Reflection: I learned that there are multiple types of rhetoric and that some overlap with one another. Knowing this will help improve my understanding and usage of the different types.

Prompt: What life skills have you learned in high school that will help you live independently after high school? Which skills do you think are essential for your success after high school?

Prompt Response: Some life skills I've learned are time management and communication skills. Skills that I think are essential for my success after high school are time management and good work ethic. Summary: Took notes over the types of rhetoric devices. Reflection: I learned that rhetoric is used in everyday conversation unintentionally. Knowing this will better help improve my writing and understanding of rhetoric devices.

Prompt: Describe a time when you took a hiatus from something important. What led to the break, and how did it impact you?

 Prompt Response: A time that I took a hiatus from was playing video games. I took a break from playing games because my grades were beginning to drop and I needed to fix them. Taking that break ended up impacting me in a positive way because it helped me bring my grades back up and kept me from failing. Summary: Learned about more rhetorical devices. Reflection: I learned that a hiatus is a pause or gap in a sequence, series, or process. Knowing this will better help me expand my vocabulary as I progress through my life.

Prompt: Use a hyperbole, an understatement, and a litotes to describe today's lesson.

 Prompt Response: Today's lesson was out of this world, It was just a comprehensive lesson on a simple tool to help me improve my writing by an incredibly large margin, nothing too serious. The lesson was not that difficult to fully comprehend either. Summary: Learned about the rhetoric devices hyperbole, understatement and litotes. Reflection: I learned that litotes are commonly used by inserting negations into statements. Knowing this will help improve my writing as I progress throughout my life.

 Prompt Response: I spent my Holiday Break spending time with my friends and family. It made me realize that I enjoy people's company.The first goal I hope to achieve in 2026 is getting my licence. This goal is important to me because I do not want to keep relying on people to give me rides. To achieve this goal, I will practice driving and study the meaning of the road signs. My timeline is to accomplish this by May 2026. The second goal I hope to achieve is to improve my fluency in Japanese. This goal is important to me because I want to visit Japan later in my life. To achieve this goal, I will practice more using apps that teach foreign languages until I can hold a conversation.
